Review: Beets BLU Key Finder

I was recently asked to review the Beets BLU Key Finder which was well timed as Jack had taken a liking to picking up and running with my house/car keys.

First of all, you need a phone that is compatible with the fob and bluetooth. You then download the app onto your phone and pop the battery into the fob. Set-up was pretty straight forward even though the instructions were quite vague.

The key fob is small, thin and lightweight and came in a small box so fitted through the letter box easily. You don’t really notice it on your keys and it’s small enough to fit in your purse or wallet or even your computer.

You can set the alarms to go off if the phone and valuable item are out of range of each either (approx 33ft). It can also be used as a remote control to take a selfie for instance (I didn’t use) or just set the alarm off from the app if you can’t find the item.

I just used it to find my keys if they were not in the usual place so I turned the alarms on the app off until I needed to find keys. They are easy to switch back on and the alarm is loud and easy to locate and a red light flashes too.

I would definitely recommend this for parents with small children who like to play with keys or if you’re forgetful like myself – I swear we have a key fairy in the house.

Great little gadget !!
